“This little gem was the highlight of our weekend in Morgantown … We didn’t have a reservation so we ended up sitting at the bar, which made our experience that much more fun. The bartenders prepared our drinks the old fashioned way (proper methodology). The food was absolutely amazing and their spin on classics was delicious. I’ve been to many places similar to this (historical vibe, legit drinks, scrumptious food) in Atlanta, DC, Chicago, etc. and this by far blew them all away. Love love love!”
“We were visiting our son at WVU and were tired of the usual burger and beer spots in Morgantown. An on-line search turned up Tin 202. Upon entering, the atmosphere reminded us of a hip spot in Manhattan or possibly New Orleans. The service was friendly, the cocktails excellent and the food (small plates) delicious. Highly recommend.”
“The very accommodating staff were able to get our family of 5 a table despite Morgantown being very busy because of the WVU graduation ceremonies slated for the next day … Once inside, the open kitchen, beautiful bar, tin ceilings and old school charm abound. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable … Soups (corn crab chowder in particular), steak medallions and Filet Mignon were outstanding. Local beer selection was likewise outstanding.”
“They told us they didn’t have a table but then found one for us and literally chased us down to let us know … We opted for tapas instead of entrees. We had mussels, scallops and langoustine with risotto and shrimp and grits. Fantastic. By this point, we were tipsy and stuffed. But who can pass up creme brûlée? It was delicious … Our waiter was fantastic, and the atmosphere was fun. It’s probably my new favorite local restaurant.”
